After 7 years of only providing services as Comic Book Colorist (here you can read what that’s all about), in 2014 I decided to broaden the field I was working in and started studying about comic/graphic novel scripts. Although when I was younger I managed and belonged to collectives where we made fanzines with my scripts, I felt I needed to improve a lot if I wanted to publish my own books. After taking some courses on graphic novels, to create characters and how to build stories, in 2016 I was able to publish my first project as a co-author.
To date I have 8 books published here in Chile, one of them published in France and soon my first issue in English will be published thanks to Blue Roo Comics. Two of the published books have received awards, which was always a good surprise for me.
The stories I write are mainly intended for all-ages, here in Chile we call it “infantile-juvenile”, with the aim to entertain, excite, motivate and tell Chilean historical facts that teens usually don’t know.
